If you need urgent care in the Hammersmith and Fulham area, you can come to the Hammersmith or Fulham centre for health. You do not need to make an appointment. The centres are located in Hammersmith Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital, next to the emergency units.

Opening times
The Hammersmith centre for health is open for urgent care between 08.00 and 22.00, seven days a week. The Fulham centre for health is open for urgent care for 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Once you arrive at one of the centres, you will see a doctor who will quickly decide on the best course of action. This may include care or treatment as follows:
• In the emergency unit next to the centre for health in Hammersmith Hospital or Charing Cross hospital
• By a GP or nurse practitioner in the centre for health
• Referral to an NHS service outside of the hospital you are at, such as Charing Cross, Hammersmith or St Mary's hospitals
If your situation is life-threatening, you will be transferred immediately to the emergency unit next to the centre for health in Hammersmith or Charing Cross hospitals.
Please note that if you arrive at the emergency unit of Hammersmith Hospital or Charing Cross Hospital, you will be directed to the centre for health next to the unit - only patients who arrive by ambulance will be taken directly to the emergency unit.
