Hammersmith and Fulham centres for health

The Hammersmith and Fulham centres for health are primary care health centres that provide two types of service:

  • Urgent care – unplanned care, no appointment necessary
  • Normal GP services – planned care, appointment necessary

Our urgent care services are available to everyone. Our GP services are available to residents of Hammersmith and Fulham only.

The Hammersmith centre for health is located in Hammersmith Hospital, next to the emergency unit. The Fulham centre for health is located in Charing Cross Hospital, next to the emergency unit. For directions, go to our getting here section.

The centres are operated by Partnership for Health, a consortium of three local health organisations. You can read more in our about us section.

Registering with a GP
GPs are the first point of contact for most health services, so it is important for you to be registered with one. If you are a local resident you can register with the Hammersmith or Fulham centre for health, or you can choose another GP practice in the borough, depending on what best suits your circumstances.
